RuneScape continues to grow more than ever

Obviously the team and I are saddened that some gamers are upset about free spins and some also do not enjoy the capacity to also purchase additional spins, however, the reality is 90% of our members are enjoying the Squeal of Fortune on a daily basis and more than 70% of our free players utilise the Squeal of Fortune daily too - making it some of the most widely appreciated content release thus far. The majority of our players also continue to take advantage of many free ways to make extra spins, so it's certainly here to stay.

The said concerns from players regarding RWT'ing, gambling or employing the Squeal of Fortune to get their way to success is simply not true and not possible given the design of the machine. Whilst we've seen most players make the most of their newest rewards and many choosing to purchase extra twists, we haven't seen any abuse of the system despite tracking it extremely closely.

Looking ahead, RuneScape continues to develop more than ever, both in terms of innovative persuasive content as well as the size of the community. With the launch of The Runespan past Monday, a significant graphical performance update yesterday (that has already seen a substantial portion of the community benefit from more than a 100% improvement in game frame rate), it ought to be evident that people gearing up for our exciting and greatest material year ever... including a complete update to the battle system after this summer!
