I played with the JP model for close

I played with the JP model for close to 90 hours per year ago and could not find the allure. You spend most of your time only oneshotting braindead-easy mobs in areas that are free. Then you sit around waiting for emergency quests to spawn which are braindead easy because everyone's equipment is so absurdly strong you'll hardly be able to even hit anything. They rush through in melting anything in their own way. SEGA added some EQs where you are forced to pilot a mecha that does not actually do a lot of damage simply so brand new Phantasy Star Online 2 gamers could get a chance at hitting things. There are many different types of quests with vague names such as buster quests, showcased quests etc and you'll need to spend ages on wikis hoping to figure out which of these are worth doing. The majority of them are amazingly boring, the only ones worth doing would be the ones with rewards.

Needing to find abilities to be learnt by discs is a imo that is mechanic that is stupid and the hotbar system is totally dreadful. I really don't get why I can't simply have multiple hotbars rather than having to scroll through subpalettes and palettes and shit onscreen. It's a UI nightmare which doesn't appeal to anyone. The targeting system sucks. The party UI is minuscule and you can't customize much. Can't hover over fans icons to tell what they do. No penalty for dying because you can just respawn like nothing happened. Since is so simple that you barely need to say anything most conversation happens in the lobby.

The system is very convoluted and you have to spend ages sifting via youtube videos and wikis to understand it. The fact that you can find new-type and old-type weapons using two different strategies to improve (mill ) them is absurd. Affixes and Publish caps are unintuitive unless you've got a manual. Collection files are pretty dull since they just boil down to"spam more EQs" which is probably what you're already doing. Each time you kill a boss they explode as a pinata and drop a great deal of useless shit. As a beginner it is tough to know what's well worth picking up and what's not. I guess you can seller them to an NPC?

Flat cap unlock quests are extremely annoying. Do I need to have a 13* +35 weapon simply to level Lv75? It is only a obstacle thrown into slow your progress. Who actually finds those fun? Most quests (customer orders) are just kill or fetch quests. All of them are amazingly dull, although there are so many. Some customer orders are really annoying to perform. The ones especially. The majority of them ask you to kill enemy but all you know is that field that enemy is found in. Which means you have to run around for ages in a sizable shitty map trying to find the mob you're supposed to kill, since the wiki does not tell you just where they spawn. Like the dinosaurs are even difficult to kill so it simply turns into a chore, it is nothing.
