There are also tons of miniquests you are able to perform collectively but they are grouped content most of the time as well and can be hard to find people to perform with determined by the minigame and time. The combat system is complicated enough and difficult enough that its quite rewarding to successfully pull off something fresh, or kill a boss more efficiently etc.. This also includes enormous in sport benefits, where performing the maximum level battle methods end up becoming 10 - 20 times better earnings than mob skilling and killing earning.

A lot of RuneScape in the beginning is simply leveling up your character's abilities, doing quests, killing things and sometimes talking to others. That content becomes mundane to the majority of RuneScape gamers there's lots of crazy long term goals RuneScape players can set their sights on. This includes earning experience in skills past the most level and maximizing xp gaining efficiency (you still gain visible xp up until 200,000,000 in every skill), getting exceptional in combat and maximizing efficiency in boss battles and also for mobs, finishing loads of lore content outside the few hundred quests in sport, earning the completionist and trimmed completionost capes (requires completion of extended lists of accomplishments with loads of skilling, killing, minigame and lore related requirements).
