I'm sure this isn't a very popular opinion, but I truly believe RS would greatly gain from scrapping older, outdated content like they did with mobilizing armies. Tbh a great deal of 5th age quests haven't made much sense and feel quite weird to do after EoC was published. This really is such a good idea. There is so much 10 year-old dead material and even if we took all of it out the game could still be HUGE.

It is not just this. It's also the simple fact that the average RS3 upgrade is bigger in size than the average OSRS update. Many tiny updates are easier to create than many big upgrades. You better release it or this means nothing. Mod Ryan was operating on a Con update and it got scrapped after good progress was made, don't have any expectation of this one coming . Betcha it will get shelved like all other excellent updates but we'll still get mtx pushed in our faces as per usual.

And we'll hear nothing about this for weeks afterward it'll be quietly cancelled just like how many other numerous parts of content. Your announcements have no integrity left. You do not keep your claims or back up your words with actions. You simply say whatever you think will reduce the backlash in the time with no intention of actually putting the campaign in. You're only milking what is left of the match with very little effort.
