"Defendants failed to just copy several discrete components from Blizzard's Warcraft games," the organization claims inside suit. "Every character within the Infringing Game was copied coming from a character through the Warcraft games, and plenty of even bear what they are called of popular characters through the Warcraft games like Jaina Proudmoore, Gul'dan, and Malfurion." Blizzard is seeking "$150,000 per infringed work." The image below is taken on the lawsuit, showing side-by-side comparisons involving the offending character designs.

The suit claims which the defendants have "profited handsomely" from Glorious Saga as well as its alleged copyright infringement. Even the game's mobile icon recreates the coverage for World of Warcraft's Battle of Azeroth expansion, depicting a person's and orc locking eyes while snarling at each other. Blizzard alleges that this use of Warcraft material was "willful and intentional."

"Every monster, creature, animal and vehicle inside the Infringing Game was copied from your Warcraft Games. Weapons, amulets, as well as other objects were taken straight in the Warcraft games, without pretense. Audio cues and sound effects from your Warcraft games were reproduced with the Infringing Game."

Blizzard Entertainment is suing numerous companies and people involved from the making with the free-to-play PC and mobile game, Glorious Saga. The Overwatch developer alleges the game is really a "massive infringement" of the Warcraft intellectual property, proclaiming that "they launched a game whose content articles are almost entirely copied in the Warcraft games and related products."
