It's a logical decision by EA. If they're just after factors. The NFL and Madden have a large African American fandom, combined with being essentially a US exclusive merchandise with minimal international appeal. Not the ideal time to fall advice when one of the largest demographics & just market is on literal fire. Picking a side of this fence means likely alienating a few investors, board members, partners and customers.

Consumers see EA for some of the dumb shit they do using Madden NFL they create and publish, but they don't see what they do for causes such as equality and office diversity (they've actually been awarded in multiple years). They're really super innovative internally and should be praised for that. It is simple to be cynical about this sort of thing, but they could just have easily avoided making a statement.That's amazing on EA's part. Regardless of how folks feel about their Madden NFL we ought to praise them for their progressive actions. I'm surprised that I am simply NOW hearing relating to this. I really wish the gambling community will step up and start caring a lot more about stuff like this.

Not only but as on most places, they are possibly the most outspoken. There are so much players that there is essentially every type of individuals. But its not. The gaming community is fine and its important to admit the hobby is full of decent people just looking to have fun. Every industry and hobby has its share of sexist and racist assholes. Ignore them and quit giving them the attention they crave. Celebrate and promote nearly all players that bring pleasure and enjoyment to the hobby.It definitely is a huge problem within gaming particularly and there's no reason to downplay it.

Other hobbies for example comics have it bad too but gaming has it in spades. Ignoring them does not work it had been attempted for decades and it helped nobody while not advancing over time instead getting worse as the alt right radicalized more teens and adults who were and are at the gaming crowd. All that ignoring it does is leave the victim of the abuse feeling alone inside. It is more that in state comics you are not interacting with other people in precisely the same way. You don't have"multiplayer competitive comic reading" with everyone on voice/chat and a person deciding to throw slurs around just because they suck Madden NFL 21 and lost.
