Not saying you can't stay competitive

What's the meta? Can you use real soccer strategies do you need to rely on stuff that is cheap or to win? Ive never played with madden games online prior to and im not sure what the current state of it is. I'd be curious if you're able to use real world strategies but not if I have to rely on cheap/gimmicky stuff in Madden. As an instance in the last couple of games agaisnt that the AI you can just junk slants over and over. While slants and TE passes seemed unstoppable other passes seemed to result in INTs. If this applies for online also but im not sure.

Any Madden player on defense is going to adjust to slants like that. The AI has its flaws on each side of the ball, blitzes are really OP this season, particularly the Buck O blitz out of 3-4 base against the athletic QBs such as Lamar. Once more though, everyone can counter this with multiple and mesh slant concepts. I don't cheese my defense or crime that way, I'll conduct the occasional blitz but then I'll mix in Cover 3 and 1 with a few adjustments to make it even more realistic and inconsistent. I will also switch up who I user on defense. On some blitzes I will really be spying on Lamar, pull on the MLB for example and drop him to policy if there is a slant that is not covered in guy well or at all over the middle, run to fulfill Lamar or the RB if gives himetc. it restricts the explosiveness a whole lot.

I find that the Patriots a fantastic group to counter the Ravens cheese since their corners are so good in guy coverage.I'm not a 3-4 man, never have been. But there's when I see that an empty backfield, 1 blitz plot I'll run and it is the mid-blitz out of Nickel A gap. You gotta press and move the CBs out and hustle to move your safeties to press but 95% of the time the QB wont be able to have off the ball because he doesn't have enough blockers. It thing that I do and men rarely audible to make an additional blocker.

The issue with 4 down fronts this year is the QBs with the X-factor that basically let's them easily truck defenders like Lamar once more may break off runs if they get into the second degree. Not saying you can't stay competitive in case you keep things inconsistent, but only know that. This blitz is really good for stuffing inside zone runs most times, think teams like the Cowboys. In that scenario a Madden player would move to calling slants or runs out of this energy I, that would indicate you're gashed if that RB discovers just one gap out of a blitz like this. The pros get hit with all the HB Dive this season like that in tournaments.
