The biggest difficulty I had when initially attempting to perform Path of Exile was feeling paralyzed with freedom. Where Diablo 3 provides structured character classes, Path of Exile's classes are nearly inconsequential. Sure, you can start as a Witch, but nothing is stopping you from investing all of your points into power turning her.

Veterans will tell you to simply wing it the first time, but I'm not fond of this idea of investing 20 hours into a rickety-shit build simply to have to reverse those errors later. But looking at various construct guides, they steeped in lingo which could not be possible to interpret. Here is an excerpt from a popular build I found on Google.

Guides aimed straight at newbies can be a help, but even those feel a bit overpowering. Here. But surely there must be? There's. Sort of.

Among the great things about Fall of Oriath's launch (which attracts Path of Exile up to version 3.0) is that sweeping balance changes and new skills means the entire metagame was thrown out. The community has produced a ton of new builds to play with. After doing some searching, I came across YouTuber Engineering Eternity who has excellent guides are built by beginner. Even though there's still some jargon Engineering Eternity solves one of the biggest problems with many manuals I read by walking you through the leveling procedure. Instead of just showing the manual divides into leveling landmarks , giving you smaller, more digestible goals to work toward.

I went together with his Scorching Ray Necromancer build, which revolves around melting enemies and allowing its damage over time ability finish them off while I proceed to the next group. It is a great build that I urge anyone use since it is reliant on gear. I had a lantern that may illuminate the next steps I had to take although I still felt confused. That made Path of Exile much more reachable, and why it has zealous fans, I started to see.
