DMM has had its achievement since there has been a constant demand, which demand came out of a part of community which flourished from competitive content within Runescape. It's been a very long successful tradition previously within Runescape, and DMM was made as a successor, and took flight. Jagex is moving in that direction, one step at a time, but it is simply not there yet. It's correct that RS3 in its current state is not made for contest which compliments my remark. Content is king online, Runescape had.Chronicles was released and made to succeed or die. It got no assistance after from there and got very little aid to start with. Jagex can release literally any fashion, any genre of game. But if they do with little to no support then simply letting it go until it dies of releasing it exactly the same thing it'll die eventually, just like every game on Funorb did as well.

It got updates through cards, but the cards were badly balanced that it didn't alter the meta, so runescape became stale and dull. Everyone played with the decks, ignoring the cards that were new. Such as the meta outside Baku/Genn did change you can argue expansions that are weak. However, at least a few of those cards had the powerlevel to continue to see play later on. Chronicle expansions didn't. Poor card design. Poor balancing. Poor gameplay favored going. etc.. Not due to neglect or lack of focus. Sure they could molded it into something playable, but the damage is done. People's word of mouth is that it's the garbage CCG that a cashgrab, just like the idle game that came out around the exact same tim
